This past July 16, we lost a horror and film legend along with a wonderful man. George Romero created the classic Night of the Living Dead in 1968 and sparked a sub-genre of horror films that would last well into 50 years now. NOTLD would inspire thousands of filmmakers and fans a like to pursue their film dreams and create something they loved for others to see. Scary Basement Media wants to honor the King himself by raising a minimum of $1,000 to donate to The Film Foundation. Mr. Romero loved film and The Film Foundation’s mission is to preserve and restore film for generations of film lovers to come.
