This past July 16, we lost a horror and film legend along with a wonderful man. George Romero created the classic Night of the Living Dead in 1968 and sparked a sub-genre of horror films that would last well into 50 years now. NOTLD would inspire thousands of filmmakers and fans a like to pursue their film dreams and create something they loved for others to see. Scary Basement Media wants to honor the King himself by raising a minimum of $1,000 to donate to The Film Foundation. Mr. Romero loved film and The Film Foundation’s mission is to preserve and restore film for generations of film lovers to come.
In return, Scary Basement Media is offering an exclusive “King of the Living Dead” soft enamel pin so that you can represent your admiration for someone who had given so much to horror. Check out a mockup of the pin itself below!
