‘Halloween’ super fan edits Dr. Loomis audio into recent Halloween film scenes

I loved the recent Halloween (2018) film. One thing it was missing is the late Donald Pleasence playing the iconic Dr. Sam Loomis. Obviously, since he passed in 1995, this wasn’t possible. What they gave us was Dr. Sartain, whether you liked the character and his plot twist, or not. While I think the actor, Haluk Bilginer, did a fantastic job, no one can replace or replicate the on screen presence of Donald Pleasance. That brings us to Halloween super fan, David Ward’s fun editing with scenes from the most recent film. David included dialogue from previous Halloween such as the producers cut of Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. The inclusion of Loomis’ dialogue juxtaposed with the new Carpenter soundtrack and scenes from the new film, are fantastic.

This is an edit of an alternate version of the ending of Halloween (2018) with Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) included. I removed Allison’s scenes to focus more on Michael as he hunts to find Karen in the bunker. -David Ward

And this cool edit with audio from Halloween 6

Halloween’s Prison Montage sequence featuring Dr. Loomis’ (Donald Pleasence) original audio and footage from his final performance in Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers. – David Ward

David likes to use Adobe Premier to create this fantastic videos. Check out his YouTube page here. What do you think of the addition of Loomis dialogue?
